Green Industry Professional Seminar and Pesticide Applicator Recertification Training

Our program is held for two days in January of each year at:
The Ernst Community Cultural Center
Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale, VA.

The Pesticide Applicator Recertification Training is a full day event and is approved for the following categories*:

VA: 3-A, 3-B, 6, 10
MD: 3-A, 3-B, 3-C, 7-E, 6, 10
DC: 3-A, 3-B, 3-C

*Please check on the current Registration form for the approved training Categories for our upcoming event. Certain categories are presented on a rotating basis to help a wide range of applicators maintain their certification.

The second day of the Seminar features landscape, tree and hardscape topics.

The first day is the Pesticide Applicator Recertification Training.

To meet the needs of the diversified workforce, we offer full-day sessions taught in Spanish. We seek out qualified Spanish-speaking presenters whenever possible to reduce the need for translation. This increases the amount of educational content in our programs.

We bring renown experts from universities in our region, researchers from collegiate and industry experimental lab centers and experienced professionals in the green industry to our events to teach and demonstrate the latest advances, technologies and discoveries.

Continuing Education Specialists from the Virginia Cooperative Extension Agency contribute content and help to focus our programs to fit the upcoming needs of the Green Industry in the Mid-Atlantic region.
